Adding OP Testnet to MetaMask

This step-by-step guide will walk you through adding the Optimism Testnet to your MetaMask wallet and accessing the faucet to fund your test wallet for the Vanna product.

Step 1: Connect Wallet & Delete OP Mainnet

1. Navigate to the Vanna Product website.

2. Click on Launch App on the homepage.

3. Once the app launches, click on Connect Wallet on top right corner.

4. Choose MetaMask as your wallet provider.

5. Click on top left cornor where you see any blockchain network in drop down menu. For instance, you see base mainnet here.

6. Locate if there is already an OP Mainnet in the list of enabled networks.

7. Click on the Delete button (trash icon) to remove OP Mainnet from the list.

8. If OP mainnet is not there then directly move to Step 2.

Step 2: Add Optimism Testnet to MetaMask

1. Click Add Network or Add a Network Manually.

2. Enter the following details:

• Network Name: OP Testnet

• RPC URL: https://rpc.tenderly.co/fork/b900f1a8-37e2-4755-9b42-2317cb8d57a2

• Chain ID: 10

• Currency Symbol: ETH

1. Click Save. The OP Testnet will now be added to your MetaMask wallet.

Step 3: Access the Faucet

1. Ensure you are connected to the OP Testnet in MetaMask.

2. In the app, click on the Faucet button on top right corner.

3. The faucet will automatically credit funds into your test wallet. You’ll see the balance update in your MetaMask wallet.

PS: Faucet option will only work if your wallet doesn't contain test funds yet.

Troubleshooting

• If the RPC URL, Chain ID, or Symbol is incorrect, you may receive an error while adding the network. Double-check the values provided.

• Ensure MetaMask is unlocked and connected to your wallet before proceeding with the faucet.
