# Transfer Collateral

> Move tokens between your wallet and your margin account. Withdrawals are health-checked.

**Transfer Collateral** moves a token between your wallet and your margin account. The same form is on the header's **Deposit → Transfer** tab.

**Wallet → Margin (MB)**

Adds collateral without creating debt, so your health factor goes up.

**1. Set the direction**

**From** your wallet, **To** the margin account. Use the swap button to flip it.

**2. Choose token and amount**

Pick XLM, BLUSDC, AqUSDC or SoUSDC and an amount. 100% of XLM keeps back your wallet's minimum reserve.

**3. Sign**

Review and approve (`deposit_collateral_tokens`).

**Margin → Wallet (WB)**

Withdraws tokens the margin account holds. With open debt, this lowers your health factor.

**1. Set the direction**

**From** the margin account, **To** your wallet.

**2. Choose token and amount**

**Max** and the % chips stop at the most you can withdraw while staying safely above **1.10**.

**3. Check the health factor and sign**

The app blocks a withdrawal that would bring the health factor to 1.10 or below, and warns below 1.25. The Risk Engine checks again on-chain (`withdraw_collateral_balance`).

## Good to know

* **Farm positions aren't withdrawable tokens.** Blend supply and LP shares count as collateral, but you must exit them on [Farm](https://docs.vanna.finance/stellar/guides/farm/overview.md) before you can transfer the underlying.
* **Net Available Collateral is not a withdrawal limit.** It is holdings minus debt. Use **Max** in the form instead.
* If a transaction fails, the amount you typed stays in the form so you can retry.
