# Repay a Loan

> Pay back a loan from your margin account's own balance of that asset, partly or in full.

Repaying sends tokens from your **margin account** back to the lending pool. It never pulls from your wallet.

**1. Open Repay Loan**

On **Margin**, open **Repay Loan**, or click **Repay** next to a loan in **Current Positions** to open the tab on that asset.

**2. Check the two tiles**

**Net Outstanding Amount to Repay** is the live debt for that asset, interest included. **Available Balance in Margin Account** is what the account holds of that asset.

**3. Enter the amount**

Use **10% / 25% / 50% / 100%** (a share of the debt, capped to your balance) or type an amount.

**4. Review and Pay Now**

The preview shows Outstanding Debt, Margin Collateral, Health Factor and Liquidation Buffer before → after. Click **Pay Now** and approve.

## Not enough of the asset in the account?

The tab tells you and offers **Transfer from wallet**. You have three ways to get the token into the margin account:

## Good to know

* **100% clears the debt.** The app adds a small buffer for interest that accrues while you sign; the contract only takes what is actually owed.
* **Repaying from collateral** lowers both your holdings and your debt. It usually raises the health factor; check the preview.
* **Repay the right pool.** Each loan is repaid in its own asset: BLUSDC debt with BLUSDC, SoUSDC debt with SoUSDC.
