Click **Connect wallet** at the top right of the app to open **Sign in to Vanna**. On Solana, Backpack is live; Solflare and Phantom are marked Soon. ## Choose how to sign in **Email or social** **1. Enter your email** Type your email and click **Continue**, or pick **Google**, **X** or **GitHub**. **2. Confirm** For email, enter the 6-digit code sent to your inbox and click **Sign in**. Social logins send you to the provider and back. **3. Done** Vanna (through [Dynamic](https://www.dynamic.xyz)) creates an embedded wallet for you: one Solana wallet and one Stellar wallet per login. There's nothing to install and no RPC to change, because the app signs and sends through the fork for you. **Backpack** **1. Install Backpack** Install the [Backpack](https://backpack.app/download) browser extension and create (or import) a wallet. Use a **test** wallet: nothing on the fork is real money, but there's no reason to expose a wallet that holds real funds. **2. Add the fork RPC** Point Backpack at the Vanna fork. Follow [the steps below](#add-the-vanna-rpc-to-your-wallet). **3. Connect** In **Sign in to Vanna**, click **Backpack** under **Solana** and approve the connection. Your wallet name appears in the header. | Wallet | Status on Solana | | - | - | | **Backpack** | Live. Supports a custom RPC, so it can sign on Vanna's fork | | **Solflare** | Soon. It checks every transaction against Solana mainnet and has no custom-RPC option, so it can't sign fork transactions. Arrives with mainnet launch | | **Phantom** | Soon | | **Email, Google, X, GitHub** | Live, through Dynamic embedded wallets | > [!NOTE] > > If the dialog shows a Stellar wallet with a **Switch** tag (or Backpack while you're on Stellar), clicking it switches the app to that chain first. ## Add the Vanna RPC to your wallet This section is for **Backpack** users; email and social logins skip it. Vanna runs on a Solana **mainnet fork**. The app already reads and sends every transaction through the fork RPC, but Backpack also needs it: otherwise the wallet shows your real Mainnet balances and simulates transactions against Mainnet, so previews look wrong or fail. ```text theme={null} https://rpc-devnet.solana.vanna.finance ``` The purple strip at the top of every page shows this URL with a **Copy** button. ![Purple banner reading: Vanna runs on a Solana mainnet fork: add RPC https://rpc-devnet.solana.vanna.finance to your wallet. Open Backpack** Open the Backpack extension. Open RPC Connection** Click **RPC Connection**. Backpack now shows **Custom Rpc: [https://rpc-devnet.solana.vanna.finance](https://rpc-devnet.solana.vanna.finance)** at the top of the wallet panel, and your balances match the app. Reload the app if it was already open. > [!WARNING] > > Running the stack on your own machine? Use your local node `http://127.0.0.1:8899` instead (see [Developer Setup](https://docs.vanna.finance/solana/developers/setup.md)). ## Access code The test app at [test.vanna.finance](https://test.vanna.finance) (Solana in the chain switcher) is private. The first time you open it, it asks for an **access code** before anything loads. Enter the code the Vanna team gave you; your browser remembers it for about 30 days. If the code is changed, you'll be asked again. ## Same login, same account Your margin account is derived from your wallet address. Sign in the same way (same email, same social account or same Backpack wallet) to return to the same collateral, debt, Farm and Predict positions.
